Electrical equipment used in hazardous locations, even if it is explosion-proof certified overseas such as IECEx or ATEX, cannot be used in Japan unless it has passed domestic explosion-proof testing. We have housed electrical devices such as highly demanded fiber optic sensors and PLC units in pressure-resistant explosion-proof boxes and obtained explosion-proof type certification (TIIS certification) to enable their use in hazardous locations.
