This is an introduction to the cycloidal reducer from Sumitomo Heavy Industries. Compared to conventional gear motors, it offers smoother rotation. It achieves a high reduction ratio with fewer reduction stages, resulting in high efficiency and a high reduction ratio. The direct-coupled type is available in standard models with capacities ranging from 0.1 kW to 132 kW and reduction ratios from 1/3 to several million. Additionally, several SF options can be selected with the same capacity and reduction ratio. There are also application models tailored to specific uses, such as those with built-in torque limiters, motor pulleys, and direct-coupled servo motors, featuring a wide range of options.
