The combination of a permanent magnet motor and Mitsubishi's unique sensorless control technology has achieved high-precision speed control with minimal speed fluctuations. The high efficiency, exceeding IE levels, significantly contributes to energy savings. Additionally, it features speed control characteristics comparable to servo motors, boasting high-performance accuracy. The S-PM motor (permanent magnet motor*) does not experience slip (reduction in rotational speed under increased load) like an induction motor, making it suitable for high-precision speed control. Furthermore, since the rotor contains permanent magnets, it does not incur secondary copper losses (rotor losses) that occur in induction motors, resulting in high motor efficiency. * A synchronous motor with powerful permanent magnets embedded in the rotor.
