This is a three-dimensional variable automatic box-making machine that processes cardboard sheets to match product sizes and manufactures boxes of optimal sizes. It does not perform sealing but supplies the assembled boxes to packaging operators. By intentionally omitting the sealing process, it allows for flexible incorporation of tasks by operators, such as adding cushioning materials, including additional items, and combining multiple products. It can achieve a reduction in box inventory and standardization of packaging processes even in environments with a variety of small lots. While OPERA automates the sealing process, OPERETTA is positioned as a "box-making process" and is a highly compatible automatic box-making machine with other packaging processes.
