[Development Case] Remote Control System for Pump Water Supply
The stability has improved due to the change to wireless! Here are some development examples in the food industry.
This is a case study of a pump control system developed for supplying water to a storage tank. Due to the long distance (several kilometers) between the pump and the storage tank, a wide-area communication network (LTE network) is used to exchange control signals. After implementation, the signal lines were replaced due to aging from buried installation, and switching to a wireless system improved stability. 【Case Overview】 ■Industry: Food ■Field: Equipment Control ■Development Environment - Communication Equipment: M2M Router (VPN Router) - Signal Conversion: LAN-Compatible Input/Output Converter - Auxiliary Equipment: Relay, Timer *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
basic information
【Introduction Effects】 ■ Replaced aging signal lines due to buried construction and improved stability by switching to wireless. ■ Reduced the amount of signal to lower communication costs (running costs) and selected an appropriate plan. ■ Considered communication anomalies by implementing a switch between the old signal lines and introduced WDT monitoring (timer) during wireless operation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
