We would like to introduce a development case of the "Production Line Safety Control System," which controls process equipment on the production line, as well as the control of transport and welding robots. In some processes, operators may need to enter the operational areas of equipment and robots for tasks such as loading parts and quality checks. To ensure that operators, equipment, and robots do not interfere with each other, we constructed the system using a safety PLC and safety devices compatible with Safety over EtherCAT to monitor safety sensors and the status of equipment and robots over the network.
