The "testo 440" is a versatile environmental measuring instrument that can handle various measurements such as temperature, humidity, wind speed, CO, CO₂, and illuminance with a single device. By connecting a high-precision temperature probe with an accuracy of ±0.05°C and a high-precision humidity probe with an accuracy of ±0.6% RH, it can be used as a reference thermometer and reference hygrometer for comparative calibration on-site. When a thermal wire anemometer probe is connected, it can measure control wind speed for verifying the performance of local exhaust systems.
