[Seminar] Understanding "Practical" Vibration Engineering Visually through Numerical Experiments
We will also explain the basic concepts of "high damping design" necessary for reducing vibrations in structures!
In this seminar, we will first briefly review the free vibration, natural frequency, and forced vibration of a single-degree-of-freedom vibration system, which forms the basis of vibration. Next, we will explain the external forces that largely govern vibration phenomena. Estimating external forces from measured displacement and acceleration is necessary to understand the mechanisms of vibration generation. We will explain the relationship between external forces and vibration responses using actual equipment as examples.
