This seminar will explain the basic knowledge of QC in the laboratory for biopharmaceuticals and protein pharmaceuticals, as well as the evaluation of homogeneity and change management. Quality testing for biopharmaceuticals and protein pharmaceuticals requires different perspectives and knowledge compared to small molecule drugs. After organizing the fundamentals of protein structure, characteristics, and analytical techniques, we will explain the important quality attributes (CQA) that QC/QA personnel should understand, as well as the concepts of homogeneity/equivalence evaluation in change management.
