Latex Stability Testing Machine for the Tire Industry [Type MK4]
Latex stability test contributing to the improvement of tire durability.
In the tire industry, quality control of the latex raw materials used is emphasized to ensure product durability. In particular, the stability of latex directly affects the performance and lifespan of tires, necessitating accurate evaluation. Unstable latex can lead to early deterioration and performance decline of the products. Our latex stability testing machine, Model MK4, evaluates the stability of latex raw materials through reliable tests compliant with international standards, contributing to the improvement of tire durability. [Application Scenarios] - Quality control of latex raw materials in tire manufacturing - Evaluation and comparison of latex in new material development - Quality control testing based on ISO and ASTM standards [Effects of Implementation] - Improvement in product quality through stability evaluation of latex raw materials - Contribution to enhanced tire durability - Increased efficiency in quality management through improved reproducibility of test results

Applications/Examples of results
Testing Procedure for Latex (Rubber Emulsion) - This product is a device for mechanically testing the physical stability of concentrated natural rubber and synthetic rubber through high-speed stirring and mechanical breakage. - Stirring is performed at a constant speed of 14,000 rpm until either the evaluation criteria are reached or the stability of the latex is lost. - To process to the evaluation criteria, a drop of latex (rubber emulsion) is placed on a convex lens, and the loss due to turbulence is indicated by changes in the sound during stirring. - The evaluation criteria are determined by the first appearance of small pieces of coagulated rubber. - The evaluation criteria are confirmed by an increase in the amount of coagulated rubber after an additional 15 seconds of stirring. - In this case, the evaluation criteria are based on the overall solids, indicating the presence of approximately 1% of coagulated material. - The mechanical stability of the latex is expressed in seconds taken from the start of the test to the evaluation criteria.
