The blower from Sonic Corporation employs a centrifugal blower that can produce a large volume of air. This blower operates at low horsepower and can generate airflow equivalent to or greater than that of a compressor. This large volume of air creates high-speed air from Sonic Corporation's tear-shaped air knife, and the wind speed disrupts the surface tension. This is how water drainage/drying is performed. The electrical cost at that time is about 1/4 of the cost required for compressed air to produce the same volume of air.
