The NT3100sc model is a nitrate meter that measures nitrate and nitrite ions dissolved in water using ultraviolet absorbance spectrophotometry. Total nitrogen discharge is regulated under water quality total quantity regulations. The concentration of nitrate and nitrite ions is used as an indicator for managing the nitrification process in denitrification processes and advanced treatment reaction tanks to reduce total nitrogen discharge. The NT3100sc is suitable for managing nitrate ions in such denitrification processes and advanced treatments.
