[Case Study] Reducing Variability Among Operators - Kao Logistics
Utilized for improving employee work productivity! What is the secret behind the 7-minute difference in eye movement?
At Kao Logistics, we ship 300,000 items a day. Employees move around a large warehouse to pick up multiple types of ordered products at once. There was a difference of nearly 7 minutes in the time taken per trip between faster and slower workers. Therefore, we introduced "eye tracking." Slower employees took longer because they looked at the screen more often. On the other hand, it was found that faster employees memorized the product names and quantities by looking at the cart screen once before picking up the items. [Subjects] ■ Fast workers (Years of experience: 14-15 years) ■ Slow workers (Years of experience: A few months since joining) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
