New water quality risks are gaining attention due to frequent natural disasters across Japan causing high turbidity water, facility failures due to aging infrastructure, and contamination by Cryptosporidium. In response to these challenges, the "containerized water purification system" can respond quickly and flexibly. This system houses the main processing unit in a 20ft container, allowing for rapid transportation and installation to disaster-stricken areas or small communities by vehicle. It can resume water supply in a short time as long as a water source is secured, without relying on existing infrastructure.
