We would like to introduce a case where our "3D laser measurement" was utilized for creating a factory floor plan. The client is a certain cosmetics manufacturer that did not have the latest drawings of their factory and requested to create a floor plan as a measure for inspections aimed at government agencies. Based on point cloud data, we performed modeling and created a 2D floor plan. We were also able to confirm the elevation differences of the floors within the factory, which can be useful for machinery installation and other purposes.
