This is a machine that immerses glass fibers in resin, bonding them so that the fibers are completely enveloped in resin, and it is used to produce FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic), which is primarily a material for residential building materials such as bathtubs. *SMC impregnation machine (Sheet molding compound) Many of these machines are manufactured overseas, and all domestic manufacturers that handled SMC impregnation machines have withdrawn, leading to customers facing difficulties with maintenance and repairs. Therefore, in March of this year, our company decided to inherit the technology and drawings necessary for the production of SMC impregnation machines and various ancillary equipment from the former Tokai Seiki Co., Ltd., which had been manufacturing and maintaining SMC impregnation machines. Although this was our first experience handling this equipment, many of the mechanisms share commonalities with the technologies we have cultivated in our industrial machinery business, and since we also have a track record of in-house production of film unwinding and rewinding devices and accumulators, we were able to produce the equipment as well.
