Uhing Linear Drive Nut RS Type
Achieving linear motion with a shaft without screws; backlash-free nut through friction contact.
Linear drive nut from Ewing Company (Germany: Joachim Uhing KG & Co. KG). It converts the rotation of a round shaft without threads into linear motion. By specially processing 3-4 bearings with an inner diameter slightly larger than the shaft diameter and arranging them alternately tilted against the shaft, it generates lead through line contact, achieving the same effect as a screw. - No threading required; linear motion is obtained from the rotation of the round shaft. - There is no backlash. - It slips under overload to protect the machine. It is used in the feed of measuring instruments such as three-dimensional measuring machines, door opening and closing mechanisms, and conveying devices. Options for special specifications such as pitch changes, direction changes, additional wipers, and additional free levers are available.
