This is a broaching tool for hexagonal hole machining. It eliminates the processes of hexagonal hole machining that were previously done by pressing or electrical discharge machining, thereby improving efficiency. We also accommodate special products such as multi-sided hole machining, Torx, square holes, and external hexagonal machining.

It can be attached to lathes, machining centers, and drill presses to process hexagonal holes. By having a structure tilted at approximately 1°, if the feed is correct, it can reduce the machine's thrust by up to 80%. This is due to the concentration of the machine's thrust on a single point of the workpiece being broached. The workpiece and the broaching tool are synchronized, and each processing surface easily performs hexagonal hole machining while rotating, concentrating on a single point (edge) of the broaching tool. The product consists of a broaching tool (cutter) for broaching and a broaching tool holder for mounting it. (When performing external hexagonal machining, a dedicated attachment needs to be installed.) We provide appropriate broaching tool holders for each level of machine thrust. When making inquiries, please specify the dimension of the opposite side (tolerance), machining depth, chuck diameter on the machine side, and thrust.
