Power-on state and threshold monitoring PAL-Only
A sensor that can achieve power supply status and threshold monitoring at a low cost for feeders that do not measure current in small-scale equipment.
◎ By simply installing the sensor, the power status can be easily identified (green LED lights up), and additionally, it will alert when the current exceeds 80% of the breaker (red LED lights up). ◎ The sensor can be installed even when powered. ◎ By installing a connection unit, remote monitoring of the alert status is possible. ◎ No external power supply required. ◎ Status display via indicator LED.
basic information
<PAL-Only Sensor> Breaker rated current (20: 20A, 30: 30A) AC current measurement / Outputs an alarm signal when the AC current exceeds the threshold. Indicator display / Displays operational status and alarm output status with LEDs. <PAL-Only Unit> PO-PU-001-01 Alarm output / Receives alarm signals from each sensor and outputs alarms via a relay. Connection test / Displays connection confirmation with the sensor using an LED during the connection test. <Relay Cable> PO-CE-002-01 Relay (extension) cable between sensors / A cable that extends between sensors. Additionally, when connecting to devices other than the PAL-Only unit, cut the tab housing side and connect. Wiring specification: UL1007_AWG22 (2m) White: ALM / Black: GND <Connection Confirmation Connector> PO-TC-001-01 Connection confirmation / By connecting the connection confirmation connector, it simulates the output of an alarm signal to confirm the connection between sensors. Wiring specification: UL1007_AWG22

Applications/Examples of results
- If you want to use power detection/current overcurrent detection visually only * No external circuit required → By simply attaching it to the measurement target, the status of the measurement target can be visually confirmed, contributing to reduced introduction costs (Power-on LED lights up when the measured current is approximately 1A or more) - If you want a voltage-free contact * Connect a PAL-Only sensor to the PAL-Only unit → Since there is no need for design/selection of each element, the sensor can be connected and powered to the unit for immediate use (Use within the rated contact capacity of AC240/3A or less for the PAL-Only unit) - If you want to receive an alarm with an arbitrary external relay * Connect the PAL-Only sensor to the coil of the external relay (pay attention to polarity) → However, it can be used under the condition that the alarm specification rated voltage of the PAL-Only sensor is DC24V or less and the rated current is 100mA or less (Adding a reverse voltage protection diode for the external relay, etc., is subject to the usage of the external relay)
