[Case Study] Molding Die
We will introduce a case where a ToshiCal S coating was applied to the surface of the mold for the part shaped like a ball.
At this rubber product manufacturer, natural rubber is molded into spherical shapes using molds during the production of rubber balls for toys. After molding, when removing the rubber balls from the molds, natural rubber would stick to the surface of the molds, making it difficult to detach them. They had previously tried fluororesin coatings, but the adhesion issue was not resolved. Therefore, they consulted with our company and adopted "Toshical S TS-1000." After coating, the adhesion issue was resolved, significantly contributing to improved productivity. 【Overview】 ■ Customer: Rubber product manufacturer ■ Target: Rubber ball manufacturing process ■ Implementation: Toshical S TS-1000 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Our company offers contract processing for surface functional modification of various substrates. Primarily, we create a dramatically non-adhesive surface by adding unevenness to surfaces that dislike adhesion, embedding special resin in the recesses while leaving it in an uneven shape. We provide non-adhesive coating "Toshical(R)S Coating Processing" and "Fine Blast Processing," which overcomes the weaknesses of sandblasting and shot blasting, allowing for uniform control of surface unevenness. Please feel free to contact us if you have any requests.
