Thermosetting resin / thermoplastic resin molding release aluminum foil
This is a catalog of release materials from Toyo Aluminum, featuring products with excellent heat resistance! Please consider them for molding applications with thermosetting resins and thermoplastics that deform at high temperatures!
Release agents are frequently used in electronic components and in the production of resin and film coatings. In particular, heat resistance is required when producing and releasing thermosetting resins and thermoplastic resins. The melting point of aluminum is over 600°C, which provides high heat resistance, making it ideal for applications involving the production and release of thermosetting and thermoplastic resins. In this field, Toyo Aluminum offers development aluminum foils for release agents, including Sepanium, LUXAL, and Ranafoil. Please take a look at our catalog.
basic information
- Sepanium Base material aluminum foil: thickness 20-50μm. The release film can be selected as single-sided or double-sided coating, available in clear coat and matte coat specifications. - LUXAL Surface smoothness … Ra: below 10nm ○ Thickness → LUXAL-A: 30, 60, 100, 200μm → LUXAL-B: 15, 30, 60, 80, 100μm ※ Type-A is high purity material, type-B is equivalent to 1N30 material ○ Size: (W) 200mm × (L) 300mm ※ For roll samples, please inquire separately. - Ranafoil Chemically treated aluminum foil surface to achieve oil-free foil. 'Ranafoil' is aluminum foil with a surface roughened by acid treatment.
