■What is machining? Machining is the process of shaping metal materials according to the specifications outlined in the design drawings. Machining can be further classified into forming (deformation), additive processing, subtractive processing, and joining. ■What is heat treatment processing? Heat treatment processing involves modifying and improving the structure of materials using high and low temperatures. It can be broadly categorized into overall heat treatment and surface heat treatment. Overall heat treatment aims to modify the entire structure of the component and consists of two processing methods: heat treatment and special heat treatment. ■What is surface treatment? Surface treatment involves processing the surface of components. Plating and painting are examples of surface treatment, but there are various other processing methods as well.
