Escher-Wis screw-type centrifuge
Continuous centrifugal separator that achieves low liquid content and large capacity processing.
**Principle** This is a continuous centrifugal dewatering device. The slurry supplied into the device is dispersed within a rapidly rotating basket, where a cake layer is formed on the screen. The basket has a two-stage structure, with the first-stage basket reciprocating back and forth while rotating at high speed. Due to the reciprocating motion of the first-stage basket, the cake layer on the screen moves while being subjected to centrifugal force. During the movement of the first and second-stage baskets, the cake is washed and centrifugally dewatered before being discharged. **Features** Wide Applicability It has a wide applicability for materials with relatively large solid particle sizes, with proven applications in over 300 types of materials. High Dewatering Performance It ensures a low liquid content, significantly reducing operating costs in subsequent processes. Large Capacity Processing It operates completely continuously, allowing for large capacity processing in a compact installation space. High Cake Washing Performance By supplying washing liquid onto the thick and uniformly formed cake layer, there is no short pass of washing water, enabling efficient cake washing. Completely Sealed Design It can be designed to be completely sealed for solvent-based slurries. Can be directly connected to a Clean Flash dryer.
