[Case Study] Tsubaki PSC Power Screw
Introducing a case where replacing the inclined chute of the supply line resolved clogging due to adhesion!
The belt conveyor had a blockage due to adhesion in the inclined chute supplying limestone to the crushing mill. Therefore, we proposed the "Tsubaki PSC Power Screw." It was introduced with a tail drive to directly feed into the discharge side of the crushing mill. As a result, the blockage was resolved because the material is extruded and discharged with a non-shaft screw, and the costs for replacing or repairing the chute section became "zero." 【Case Overview】 ■ Issues - The rotary feeder trips due to blockages in the inclined chute. - Work was being done to hit the chute with a hammer to prevent blockages. ■ Reason for Proposal - By replacing the inclined chute section with the Tsubaki PSC Power Screw, we can eliminate blockages caused by adhesion. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. *The PSC Power Screw is a registered trademark of our company.
