The "DA Motor / DA Controller" is a three-phase induction (AC) motor (with sensor) that can be operated on battery power. By driving through a dedicated DA controller, voltage conversion losses are minimized, allowing regenerative energy to be efficiently charged to the battery. The DA motor is a totally enclosed external fan type and does not have carbon brushes.
