[Seminar] Introduction to the European AI Law (EU AI Act)

On November 6, an explanation of the overall picture of European AI laws that Japanese companies should understand and the basics of risk classification will be held.

Against the backdrop of the rapid development of AI technology, countries around the world are advancing the establishment of AI-related regulations to balance innovation and safety. In this context, the "EU AI Act," which adopts a "risk-based approach" to adjust the strictness of regulations according to the level of AI risk, has garnered significant attention as the world's first comprehensive AI regulation. Therefore, TÜV SÜD Japan will introduce the latest information by adding the content of the "Digital Omnibus" amendment approved by the EU Council on June 29, 2026, to the highly acclaimed seminar on the EU AI Act. This seminar is recommended not only for Japanese companies providing AI-enabled products and services to the EU but also for non-EU companies that wish to systematically understand the overall landscape of AI regulations.
