UL Japan has established a reliability testing lab specialized in automotive equipment at its Ise headquarters, which began operations on April 8, 2019. With the introduction of new testing equipment, it is now possible to conduct environmental and durability tests required for automotive equipment (such as temperature and humidity, vibration and shock, saltwater corrosion, waterproofing and dustproofing tests, etc.), enabling compliance with a wide range of testing requirements in the automotive industry, including IEC/ISO international standards, environmental testing standards from the Japan Automobile Engineers Association, and unique standards from domestic and international automotive manufacturers. By combining the knowledge and testing capabilities developed through the establishment of safety standards and safety certification with over 15 years of experience in providing EMC services for automotive equipment, we offer reliability testing services specifically tailored for automotive equipment.
