The Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC), the technical division of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) in India, announced on September 22, 2021, the start dates for Phase III and Phase IV of the Mandatory Testing and Certification of Telecommunication Equipment (MTCTE). Phase III and Phase IV of MTCTE will cover a wide range of products and are expected to be mandatory from July 1, 2022.
