Products that emit radio waves using wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are subject to legal regulations (Radio Law) in about 140 countries/regions, including Japan, out of approximately 200 countries worldwide. Products that do not comply with these regulations cannot be sold in those countries, and there may be penalties for the import and use of unauthorized products. On the other hand, the content of the Radio Law regulations and the application procedures vary by country, and changes to the regulations are made as necessary. [On-Demand Seminar] Latest Information on the Telecommunications Business Act (Security Standards Certification, etc.)
The amendment to the Ministerial Ordinance of the Telecommunications Business Act and the Terminal Equipment Regulations has been made, and a new "Security Standard" has been established.
