[Case Study] Aluminum Fiber Sound Absorption Panel Poal [Soundproof Enclosure]

Introducing Poal, which has excellent sound absorption properties and outstanding durability and weather resistance. Here are some examples of its implementation.

Noise issues, which can easily become a source of concern in manufacturing and processing sites, are an important challenge for protecting the health of employees as well as the workplace and surrounding environment. Our developed sound-absorbing material, "Poal," is resistant to heat and water, making it suitable for use in high-temperature conditions. It excels in durability and weather resistance, showing minimal degradation over time even when exposed to outdoor wind and rain, resulting in excellent cost performance. We would like to introduce examples of how the sound-absorbing material "Poal" demonstrates its true value in harsh environments. ◆ We also offer proposals for soundproofing plans tailored to your needs upon request. Please feel free to contact us for consultations. *Available for sale from one sheet. We also provide estimates. *We can introduce construction companies as well. Please feel free to inquire. *If you would like a sample, please fill out the inquiry form with your intended use and write "Request for Sample."

basic information

◆Case Study of Waste Treatment and Recycling Operators The noise generated by the crushing machines for home appliances exceeded 100dB, making communication between workers impossible. Measurements of the sound sources revealed that the noise from the mill part of the crusher, the area around the feed opening, and the sound from the sorting machine's exit, along with echoes from the walls, were particularly loud. By covering the crusher with soundproof enclosures made of Poal and installing sound-absorbing panels on the nearby walls, we achieved a significant noise reduction from approximately 105dB to about 87dB. 'Poal' can be easily bent and punched, allowing it to be processed into shapes that fit the site. *105dB is comparable to the sound of a car horn from close range, while 87dB is similar to the noise level inside a crowded train. ◆Case Study of a Major Construction Company 'Poal' was adopted as the material for soundproof walls used in construction projects. When a soundproof wall approximately 60cm high is installed on top of a 3m high soundproof enclosure, it achieves a noise reduction effect equivalent to that of a 6m high soundproof enclosure (note). Since the height of the soundproof enclosure can be kept lower, it creates less sense of pressure on the surroundings and is easier to install. 'Poal', being thin, lightweight, and highly weather-resistant, does not suffer from performance degradation due to water absorption, making it ideal for outdoor use.
