The Vaisala CARBOCAP MGP262 multi-gas probe for measuring methane and CO2 is designed to be directly installed in piping to measure off-gas during the biogas upgrading process. The biogas upgrading process is a challenging environment where high concentrations of carbon dioxide are present, requiring the precise and reliable measurement of low concentrations of methane.

The exhaust generated when upgrading biogas to biomethane or CO2 can be captured for use in greenhouses or the food industry, or further converted into biomethane through methane generation or Power to Gas (P2G) processes.
