[Case Study] Remote Monitoring and Abnormal Notification System for Temperature-Controlled Warehouses
Abolishing paper records! Introducing a case that improved temperature management levels in temperature-controlled warehouses and achieved real-time monitoring from a distance.
We would like to introduce a case where our temperature-controlled warehouse's temperature and humidity remote monitoring and anomaly notification system was implemented for customers in the warehouse and logistics industry. Previously, anomalies could not be detected immediately due to only a few visual checks per day, and confirmation was done via phone during trouble occurrences. Additionally, there was a challenge that immediate alarms triggered by the loading and unloading of goods would disrupt operations. After the introduction of this system, real-time anomaly detection became possible, allowing personnel at headquarters to monitor from a distance. A delay function to accommodate temperature fluctuations caused by door openings and closings has also been incorporated, contributing to improved temperature management levels. 【Case Overview】 ■ Previous Specifications: Temperature checks through visual inspection several times a day and paper records ■ Challenge: Wanted to grasp the temperature of warehouses dispersed across the site in real-time and detect anomalies ■ Solution: Proposed a system configuration that sends and records the analog output signal from the control panel temperature controller to the cloud and notifies via email in case of deviations ■ Implementation Effect: Real-time anomaly detection is possible, and the elimination of paper records *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
