[Case Study] Predictive Maintenance and Fault Location Identification System for Pumps Installed in Remote Areas

Reducing unnecessary on-site visits and returns! Here is an example of being able to understand the pump's condition and failure points in advance from a remote location.

We would like to introduce a case where a pump manufacturer implemented our predictive maintenance and fault location identification system for remote installation pumps. Previously, regular on-site inspections and reactive maintenance were conducted, but there were inefficiencies such as having to return without identifying fault locations before going on-site, or returning from regular inspections without any abnormalities. After implementation, we utilized a group of sensors, including "Mibunroku Cloud" and IoT gateways, to measure water levels and current values, and established a system that sends alarm emails when threshold anomalies occur, progressing towards reducing unnecessary on-site visits. 【Case Overview】 ■ Previous Specifications: Regular on-site inspections and visual checks, reactive maintenance ■ Challenges: Inefficiencies arose due to staff shortages ■ Solution: Implementation of a group of sensors such as "Mibunroku Cloud" and IoT gateways ■ Customer Feedback: The ability to collect diverse measurement data from a single company was highly valued *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
