On May 17, 2022 (Tuesday), our company, Wavefront Inc., will host an online seminar titled "Designing Polymer Structures with Desired Property Values Using Materials Informatics" (Sponsored by Dassault Systèmes). Recently, there have been increasing opportunities to see news about the achievements of Materials Informatics (MI) initiatives, such as the reduction of development time and the development of innovative materials utilizing AI. However, there are still many challenges in exploring candidate structural materials with desired properties while utilizing MI. This time, we would like to introduce our efforts in "Polymer Material Development" using tools that leverage "the handling of data," which is said to be the biggest hurdle in MI, by utilizing "collaboration between experimental data databases and calculations, as well as open-source resources."
