Performance Evaluation of Production Equipment: Case Study of AWB Utilization
Calculate equipment utilization rates from MTBF/MTTF and actual operating information! It is also possible to analyze how the utilization rate changes when switching to new equipment!
The AWB (Availability Workbench) can calculate the operating rates and lifecycle costs of production lines and production equipment based on equipment information (Note 1), and the following effects can be expected: ■ Expected Effects 1. Calculation of the expected operating rate as a production line when introducing new equipment. 2. Setting targets for each piece of equipment to meet the operating rate goals established in the production plan. 3. Estimation of vulnerable areas in production equipment and production lines and corresponding measures. Note 1: Examples of input equipment information - Degradation curves (Note 2) - Items related to maintenance - Required personnel - Operation costs, etc. Note 2: Can also be substituted with MTTF/MTBF or failure performance data.
basic information
When conducting evaluations like the examples introduced, it can be broadly divided into two steps. 1. Implementation of commissioned evaluations by our company 2. Software implementation We often receive inquiries regarding insufficient data when conducting evaluations; however, there are methods available to compensate for such data shortages, so please feel free to consult with us. Additionally, we have integration capabilities with systems such as SAP and MAXIMO, so please consult with us as needed.

Seminar on 'Analysis and Utilization of Reliability Data Using Weibull Analysis' to be held on May 10 (Wednesday)
This seminar will introduce the recording of data related to product manufacturing and quality control, the analysis using Weibull analysis, and its application to life estimation and failure prediction. In product manufacturing and quality control, we will record data using the electronic form system i-Reporter, analyze it using Weibull analysis, and utilize it for reliability evaluation. - Failure prediction - Estimation of product lifespan - Exploring what issues may arise from failure information, identifying contributing causes, and being able to consider and implement countermeasures are expected benefits. Organizer: Wavefront Inc., Simtops Inc. Date and Time: May 10, 2023 (Wednesday) 15:00 - 15:45 Method: Online via ZOOM meeting Participation Fee: Free
