For managing manufacturing processes and quality! Calendar-type business management system FLiPS.
Centralize the management of data from the manufacturing site and visualize equipment operating rates and product yields.
FLiPS is a system that manages various events related to lines, processes, facilities, equipment, and machinery in a chronological order using a calendar format. In addition to equipment management, it enables process management, quality control, traceability, and cost management. Recently, we have been receiving many inquiries regarding the management of manufacturing processes and quality. Do you have any of the following challenges or concerns? - I want to centrally manage data from the manufacturing site. - I want to collect data on equipment utilization rates and product yields. - I want to visualize the collected data. - I want to visualize the progress of operations. - I am being asked to pursue digital transformation (DX), but I don't know where to start, etc. With FLiPS, it is possible to digitize historical data by accumulating data on processes, progress, and achievements. Additionally, by integrating with BI tools such as Motion Board, it allows for real-time visualization and understanding of the current situation, and by connecting with electronic reporting systems like i-Reporter, it can digitize manufacturing records and reporting tasks, reducing manual data entry work.
basic information
FLiPS allows you to try a trial version by applying through our company website. Please take a moment to experience its usability and features. FLiPS has the following characteristics: ■ Simple Usability - Intuitive operation similar to Excel - Data management possible with few screen transitions - Hierarchical management of events - Multiple hierarchical settings available (can be managed from various perspectives) - Simple hierarchical management (easy to set and switch) - Simple data structure - Zoom in and out on the time axis - Status management of plans and actual results - Recording of content for plans and actual results, along with attachment of related files ■ Simple Data Structure FLiPS adopts a "hierarchical structure creation by aggregation method." This method allows for a simple data structure, enabling quick implementation. The advantages of this method are as follows: - Hierarchical representation is flexible as it does not use a fixed hierarchical structure. - Initial data input is easy, and data maintenance is also straightforward. - Aggregation is performed in the order set by the user. - The output function to Excel allows for data export and provides a procedure for bulk input, making re-input adjustments easy.

Applications/Examples of results
Achievements ■ Sendai City Hall Adopted FLiPS as the asset management system for sewerage. - Utilization of risk matrix - Integration with GIS For high-risk facilities among pipelines and sewage treatment plants, construction is expedited, while for low-risk facilities, the renewal period is extended, significantly reducing maintenance costs! ■ Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. Used for budget application and performance management of oil storage facilities across Japan. - Utilized for equipment maintenance management of oil storage facilities operated by different contractors nationwide. The equipment is an asset of Idemitsu Kosan. - Budget applications from each oil storage facility are approved, planned, executed, and recorded at Idemitsu Kosan headquarters in a streamlined process. - Due to security settings, data from other oil storage facilities can only be referenced. Updates can only be made to the data of one's own oil storage facility. - Output of reports from FLiPS to the format of financial reports already in use before the introduction of FLiPS. - Utilized event detection functions to identify work omissions and delays. - The event comment detection function reduces communication via phone and email, allowing the history to be retained as records of the equipment. ■ Others - Tokai Kotsu Kikai Co., Ltd. - Automobile parts manufacturers - Oil storage facilities - Petrochemical plants - Nuclear power plants

April Online LIVE Seminar! ~Protein Analysis Seminar~
13:00~14:00 Examples of ITC Utilization - Useful Information Beyond Binding Strength - Masayuki Oda, Kyoto Prefectural University The Isothermal Titration Calorimeter (ITC) is a device that detects changes in heat associated with titration at a constant temperature, primarily used for analyzing molecular interactions. It provides information not only about binding strengths such as Ka and Kd of biomacromolecules like proteins, but also about binding ratios and thermodynamic quantities (ΔH, ΔS, etc.). This presentation will introduce how these pieces of information can be useful and applied, based on specific examples. 14:00~14:30 Introduction to Isothermal Titration Calorimetry (ITC) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) for Biomacromolecules Minako Maeda, TA Instruments Application Department

July Online LIVE Seminar! ~Protein Analysis Seminar~
13:00~14:00 Analysis of the interaction between sleep substance-synthesizing enzyme and ligand using isothermal titration calorimetry Shigeru Shimamoto, Lecturer, Department of Life Science, College of Science and Engineering, Kinki University Isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC) has the significant advantage of detecting molecular interactions in a form that is closer to the state present in vivo, without the need for chemical modifications, immobilization, or detection probes. Furthermore, it is a method that provides nearly complete thermodynamic parameters related to the interactions. Here, I will introduce the analysis of the interaction between lipocalin-type prostaglandin D synthase (L-PGDS), which acts as a sleep substance-synthesizing enzyme in the mammalian brain, and its ligand, prostaglandin (PG), using ITC, and discuss the elucidation of the enzyme reaction mechanism in conjunction with structural information. 14:00~14:30 Introduction to isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) for biomacromolecules Minako Maeda, Applications Department, TA Instruments
