They are highly resistant to electromagnetic and acoustic interference, making them ideal for small wind turbines. They provide a single compact and lightweight solution for retrofitting existing mechanical wind vanes and anemometers into wind measurement systems. The flat front wind speed and direction sensor is designed for quick and easy installation on a metal rod, secured with a single bolt on the mounting surface of the sensor. The pipe mount wind speed and direction sensor is designed to be installed on the top of a pipe or post using a pipe mount adapter.
