■Measurement Principle It is based on the principle of Karman vortices. When fluid passes through the sensor, the internal rod acts as an obstacle, generating vortices. The flow velocity is calculated by counting these vortices using an ultrasonic sensor built into the vortex sensor. Additionally, since the vortex-type sensor does not use electrical components such as moving parts or heaters in the detection section, it is not subject to sensor damage or degradation over time. ■Sensor Usage Examples Measurement of intake and exhaust flow rates in mines; the sensor can measure even when salt deposits are present.
