Powered by two AA alkaline batteries, it supports K, J, T, S, and R thermocouple sensors. Up to four units can be connected, allowing for synchronous recording of up to 16 channels. Recorded data can be transferred to a computer via direct communication through USB, or by transferring data to an SD card inserted into the main unit. Additionally, graph display and viewing are possible on the LCD screen of the recorder itself.
