(The average temperature is the mean value of 24 temperature measurements taken every hour on the hour.)* *The accumulated temperature is calculated by adding the average daily temperatures. Measurement of the average temperature begins at midnight after the accumulation starts, and the average daily temperature is calculated, updating the display for accumulated temperature, previous day's average temperature, and accumulated days. (For example, if accumulation starts at 1 PM, the measurement of average temperature will begin at midnight the following day, so the display immediately after the accumulation starts will be retained until midnight the day after next.)* *It has a drip-proof structure compliant with JIS C 0920 IPX4. It will not be adversely affected by water splashes from any direction. It can be used in slightly wet areas or touched with wet hands without affecting the device. (However, it is not waterproof, so please do not use it outdoors in the rain, underwater, or wash it directly.)*
