It is a metal rebound portable hardness tester with a compact body and excellent operability.
Anyone can easily perform hardness tests with just one touch, making it widely applicable to various testing subjects on-site. ■ Abundant Variety of Detectors In addition to the standard universal detector (Type D), we offer a wide range of specialized detectors (sold separately) that can accommodate various applications. For testing the hardness of pipe inner walls that could not be tested with the Type D, we have the DC type. For bearings and gears, we offer the D+15 type. For narrow surfaces such as the bottom of small gears and corners of welds, we have the DL type available.

■Equipped with automatic angle correction function In the case of rebound hardness testers, the direction in which the detector is applied to the sample surface affects the measured results due to self-acceleration. The MG12H-411 is equipped with the latest measurement technology that automatically recognizes the pressing direction of the detector and corrects the influence of self-acceleration. This eliminates the need for offline setting operations for the detector's direction. ■Capable of testing slight sample surface hardness As long as there is a slight sample surface where the hardness detector can be pressed (standard D type: φ22mm, separately sold DL type: φ4mm), hardness testing can be conducted. It can be used for hardness testing of various sample shapes, such as gaps in structures and grooves in gears. ■Equipped with data storage function The results of hardness tests can be stored for up to 1800 points, making it very convenient for on-site inspection tests and similar applications.

■ A hardness scale suitable for the purpose can be selected. Based on the HL value of hardness (L value: according to ASTM A 956), it is possible to convert to Vickers, Brinell, Rockwell C, Rockwell B, Shore hardness, and tensile strength. When conducting tests, it is possible not only to convert after the test but also to perform the test with the hardness value displayed in conversion mode. ■ Excellent operability. Basic operation involves simply pressing the detector against the sample surface and pressing the detector button with your finger as if knocking a ballpoint pen, allowing anyone to easily handle it.
