The measurement interval of the data logger can be set between 1 second and 99 seconds.

The MI1TT-889M, which has a built-in data logger function, can store illuminance data with date and time for up to 16,000 entries and allows you to download measurement data to a computer. You can start and stop the data logger measurements up to 99 times, and save them as different data files. The measurement data is saved in a dedicated file format as well as in text file format, making it possible to view the data in Excel. Additionally, with the MI1TT-889M, you can press the memory key on the device to store the current illuminance data along with the date and time for up to 99 entries. The measurement range of illuminance is switchable, accommodating a wide range from low light to ultra-high light levels with settings of 0 to 400.0 Lux, 4000 Lux, 40.00 kLux, and 400.0 kLux. Illuminance can also be displayed in foot-candles (fc). The MI1TT-889M is a multifunctional illuminance meter that features a backlight function for visibility in dark places, a measurement hold function, minimum or maximum illuminance measurement modes, light pulse peak minimum or maximum measurement modes, and illuminance error measurement modes. The sensor unit is detachable from the main body, allowing for optimal sensor positioning to achieve more accurate illuminance measurements. The main unit, sensor, analysis software, USB cable, and batteries are provided in a hard case.
