The MI1T-139M is a low-cost digital illuminance meter that supports a wide range of illuminance measurements from 0 to 400,000 Lux / 50,000 foot-candles (fc) with automatic range switching. It displays illuminance in both numerical and bar graph formats. The MI1T-139M automatically compensates for differences in light sources, allowing for illuminance measurements with any type of light source, including tungsten bulbs, fluorescent lights, mercury lamps, and sodium lamps.

The MI1T-139M features a peak hold function and can store maximum/minimum illuminance that changes in increments of 1/100,000 seconds. By using this function, it is possible to measure the illuminance of light pulses that change in very short time intervals. Additionally, it is a multifunctional illuminance meter with maximum/minimum illuminance memory that changes in increments of 0.67 seconds, hold function, illuminance change value measurement, and a backlight function that allows visibility of values even in dark places. The MI1T-139M comes with USB output, allowing real-time illuminance data to be output to a computer. Measurement data can be saved in .txt format, making it viewable in Excel as well.
