Digital Lux Meter / Model Number T-10A
Compliant with JIS AA grade and DIN Class-B.
●Compliant with JIS AA grade and DIN Class B Illuminance meter for next-generation lighting compatible with PWM light ●The mini light receiver and cable are waterproof. ●Multi-point measurements can be easily and inexpensively performed. A mini light receiver is also available, allowing for illuminance measurements in narrow spaces. ●Compliant with JIS AA grade and DIN Class B The T-10A and T-10MA comply with JIS C 1609-1:2006 General Class AA illuminance meter and DIN 5032 Part 7 1985 edition Class B. They are reliable illuminance meters that pursue high precision and high reliability. *This device has obtained type approval under the Measurement Act for the main unit and light receiver as a single unit. Type approval has not been obtained for using the main unit and light receiver separately (cable extension/multi-point measurement). The type approval number applies to combinations where the serial numbers on both the main unit and light receiver are the same.
basic information
● Compatible with PWM light. Measurement of next-generation light sources is also possible. PWM stands for Pulse Width Modulation, a method of controlling signal intensity by adjusting the ratio of the ON and OFF periods of a pulse signal. A pulse signal is one that alternates between ON and OFF states, and the ratio of the ON period to one cycle is called the duty cycle. PWM dimming is a method of adjusting brightness by changing the duty cycle (lighting time) of the pulsed light. Longer lighting times make it brighter, while shorter lighting times make it darker. ● Multi-point measurements can be easily and inexpensively performed (2 to 30 points). Illuminance distribution from projectors and other devices can be easily measured with a single unit. ● The light-receiving unit is detachable. The main unit and the light-receiving unit can be disconnected and connected with commercially available LAN cables, making it easy to integrate into your inspection system.

Applications/Examples of results
■Main Uses ● Research and inspection for lighting equipment manufacturers ● Testing institutions for government agencies ● Maintenance management for factories, offices, hospitals, etc. ● Illumination management for security lights and streetlights ● Light source checks related to construction ● Illumination management in LED plant factories ● As a sensor for total luminous flux and luminous distribution characteristic devices, etc. * Measurement of illumination in seawater is not covered by manufacturer warranty. * The T-10WSA's light-receiving part is a waterproof illuminance meter, but it is not a dedicated underwater illuminance meter. It is designed to be waterproof against minor water exposure and is not intended for continuous use underwater.
