Equipped with a digital micro eyepiece, it is not necessary to look up at the specimen stage platform to input the diagonal of the indentation. The TH715 uses a new high-resolution color touchscreen, and the operation display screen is intuitively displayed. The display's backlight is adjustable, and an energy-saving mode is available. The touchscreen can display the testing method, test force, indentation length, dwell time, number of measurements, and conversion scale. When measuring the indentation length, pressing the eyepiece button automatically calculates and displays the hardness value on the screen. Test results can be checked or printed out using the built-in printer, or saved by connecting to a computer via the RS232 interface. For Knoop hardness measurement, a Knoop indenter can be selected, and a 2kg test force can be equipped; an LCD screen measuring device and a CCD image automatic measurement system can also be selected.
