The MI1W-83SE is a non-destructive wood moisture meter that detects moisture using a high-frequency method.
The moisture content of wood varies with the density of the wood, so you can select the density of the wood you are inspecting. The MI1W-83SE can measure moisture up to a depth of 50 mm. Therefore, by placing the MI1W-83SE against walls or floors and sliding it, it can also be used to detect areas where leaks or condensation are occurring.
