The digital Brinell hardness tester is a microcontroller-controlled Brinell hardness tester that combines a precision mechanical structure with a closed-loop control system. This device employs a weightless automated test force application and uses a 0.5‰ precision compression sensor for feedback, while the CPU control system automatically compensates for any lost test force during the testing process. The indentation of the impression can be measured directly with a digital microscope eyepiece, and the test force, indentation length, dwell time, number of measurements, conversion scale, date, and time can be intuitively displayed on a large screen. After measuring the indentation length, pressing the eyepiece button allows for the automatic acquisition and display of the hardness value on the screen. Test results can be checked or printed out using the built-in printer, or saved by connecting to a computer via the RS232 interface.
