Air-operated drum pump for explosive areas (for solvents and chemicals)

Pump that uses compressed air to transfer by utilizing internal pressure, explosion-proof type that does not use electricity, safe with double safety structure, compatible with high-viscosity liquids.

● Pump that utilizes internal pressure for transfer using compressed air Ideal for transferring cutting fluids, waste liquids, solvents, etc., from drums. ● Explosion-proof type that does not use electricity This pump discharges and sucks in liquids using air pressure. Since it does not use electricity at all, it can be safely used in explosion-proof areas. Additionally, the G, AS, and SUS types come standard with a grounding wire for comprehensive static electricity measures. Please install the grounding wire at a grounded location. ● Double safety structure for peace of mind The APD safely pressurizes and depressurizes the drum. The automatic pressure relief valve (regulator) maintains a constant pressure inside the drum while preventing it from exceeding a certain pressure (0.05 MPa). The safety valve is designed to release compressed air outside the drum if the pressure rises above 0.07 MPa, ensuring that the drum will not burst, so you can rest assured.

basic information

●Compatible with high-viscosity liquids It can be used for high-viscosity liquids (up to 3,000 cP) that are difficult to handle with conventional drum pumps. Of course, it also provides powerful discharge for low-viscosity liquids. ●Low failure rate Since it does not use motors and has no obstacles in the flow path, it can handle liquids with foreign substances and viscosities (up to 3,000 cP) without any issues. ●Efficient liquid discharge The discharge pump expels liquid using air pressure, allowing for more efficient discharge of liquid from the drum compared to other electric or manual pumps. Approximately 5mm of liquid remains in the drum. (Test value of about 1-2L) ●Can be used from a nitrogen cylinder It can be used even without a compressor power supply. Suitable for emergency situations. ●Choice of discharge methods There are two types available: a ball valve type that does not obstruct the flow path and a manual gun nozzle type (designated by "NA" at the end of the model number) that can be operated with one hand. If you want to ensure flow rate, the ball valve type is recommended; if you prioritize convenience, the manual gun nozzle type is recommended.
