The MC8HN-202131S is a lightweight, ultra-compact, wearable CO2 alarm meter that employs NDIR technology (**). It accurately measures the CO2 concentration in the surrounding atmosphere and displays the current CO₂ concentration and TWA (time-weighted average) on a large LCD screen with an easy-to-read backlight. It allows for switching measurement units (ppm⇔%), displaying MAX and MIN values, and holding displayed values, operating for approximately 30 hours on a full charge. When the set threshold is exceeded, it alerts with a two-level buzzer sound and a symbol display on the screen to indicate the alarm status. Long-term accuracy is maintained through baseline calibration with fresh air at approximately 400 ppm. The measurement opening (slit) is located on the top of the unit, and it can be attached to a belt with a clip (on the back of the unit) or hung with a strap. It is suitable for monitoring and alarm purposes in high CO2 concentration environments such as beer brewing, soft drink production, dry ice manufacturing, and greenhouses.
