The logger's housing is made of 316L stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant, waterproof, and pressure-resistant, making it suitable for a wide range of applications from dairy processing to frozen storage environments. Setting the operating conditions and data retrieval is done by connecting the logger to a computer's USB port using the included USB interface cable and the separately sold application software. *Although this product has a corrosion-resistant stainless steel housing, long-term use in saltwater may pose a risk of corrosion.*
